A client from North East Brunswick brought his new-to-him 2008 Ford F-150 to AutoImage have a new radio installed. He wanted a radio that would work with his smartphone and have the option for satellite radio. His family bought him a Pioneer AVH-X2800BS for the holidays. We had done some window tint work for the client in the past, so he gave us a call to install his new radio.
We asked the client to stop by the shop with the radio and the installation accessories he received before his appointment, so we could make sure he had the correct parts. It’s a good thing we did, since he had the wrong dash kit. We got him squared away and scheduled an appointment for 9 a.m. the following day.
He dropped off the truck as scheduled and by noon, he was on his way with a modern radio that included Bluetooth, CD/DVD, Sirius XM and capability of being upgraded with a navigation module at a later date. The client was very happy that he asked us to do the installation, and that we helped get him the correct parts.
